We are immensely proud of how we support our schools and our staff. We are passionate about creating opportunities and career development and pathways for our ambitious team. Read below to hear from some of the team:

"From the moment I first stepped into Fairfield Primary School, I knew it was the place where I wanted to begin my career in education. Back in 2016, I joined as an NQT, teaching in Year 3. From the outset, the school's supportive ethos shone and I was trusted with the autonomy to teach using my own pedagogical style and ethos. Since my first year, I have continued to thrive in a culture of cooperativeness, which has teamwork at its heart. It is these attributes which enabled my confidence to blossom and my ambitions to become a reality.

The Learning for Life Trust made it their duty to discover my future ambition and wholeheartedly supported my career development, enabling me to become a school leader of a large, highly successful primary school. My award-winning career at Fairfield, has seen me progress from middle leadership, with responsibility for Maths and English, to the Key Stage Two Leader before being promoted to the school's Deputy Headteacher- a role which I am so proud to hold. As one of the youngest educational professionals in the county to undertake this role, such an attribute is a true reflection of The Learning for Life Trust's commitment to supporting its staff to ensure they reach their true potential. I am very much looking forward to continuing my journey within a successful Trust, who truly believe in their pupils, families and staff and who strive to provide the very best opportunities for them. " Mr J Gale - Deputy Headteacher, Fairfield Primary School

"I have been warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at Fairfield Primary since joining the school this September as an ECT. The school has provided me with access to an extensive network of support and guidance from a range of experienced staff to ensure my progress and continuing development. The school has been committed to ensuring that I receive the support and advice that I am entitled to and have endeavoured to help me in any way that they can. Working in such a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are valued and respected has given me a greater start to my teaching career than I could’ve ever hoped for." Miss S Butler - Early Career Teacher (EYFS), Fairfield Primary School

"I am the Headteacher of Broughton Primary School, who joined the Learning for Life Trust in September 2022. Since joining the Trust, the support offered to all of our school stakeholders has been varied and extensive, and the positive impact of the collaboration between the Trust schools is already clearly evident. The Trust has developed networks between our Designated Safeguarding Leads, SENDCos and Senior Leadership Teams, who meet regularly to provide an extra layer of support and supervision, which our school previously did not have access to as a Single Academy Trust. In joining the Trust, there has been a true sense of collaboration and development between the schools within the MAT, whilst still allowing our school to retain it's own unique identity as a small, village school; something which was incredibly important to the whole Broughton Primary community. I am extremely proud to lead and work within a dedicated and fantastic school team at Broughton, and this combined with the support and guidance from the Trust,  is resulting in our school moving in a positive direction. It is an exciting time to work within the Learning for Life Multi-Academy Trust." Mrs A Bewsher - Headteacher, Broughton Primary School
