Friday marked the end of the penultimate week of this half-term and what an utterly fabulous week it's been (as ever!)

There's been Chinese New Year Celebrations, special visitors meeting our Reception children as part of their 'People Who Help Us Topic' and shining examples of creative artwork in Year 2 and 6.

We've also had a special author meet and greet in Year 4, which was organised by one of our wonderful pupils and our fantastic Year 5 children enjoyed a spectacular Space Day!

Moreover, special assemblies, mystery readers and classic story reenactment has helped us to mark National Storytelling Week in true Fairfield style and today we have raised £285.75 for the NSPCC  as part of our celebrations of Number Day- the costumes were truly, marvelously mathematical! As part of the day, pupils enjoyed active Maths lessons and problem solving tasks (and a number disco in Nursery!) as well as learning about the important work the NSPCC does, which links to our safeguarding curriculum. Thank you to our whole Fairfield family for your efforts and contributions.

Have a wonderful weekend!
